I was actually working in a sector that was not mandated, but our company head made the decision to do so . So the process for staff unwilling to be vaccinated involved a H&S assessment and risk identification using the guidelines published by Employment New Zealand and Work Safe, after which my employment as a senior executive manager was terminated. I still remain unemployed despite applying for a number of jobs. It took about a year for businesses to unwind their expectations of staff being vaccinated (even in non-mandated sectors). I lost a significant salary; being mandated out of my job has placed a great financial burden on my family. But I remain hopeful something will come-up soon.

I'm very sorry to hear that. But it does remind me of the lack of people's stories from this issue that are out there - if you'd be interested in me asking a few questions over email for doing a post on people's 'mandated out' experiences - please email me at nzcovidresponse@substack.com My best to you and your family.

More evidence reveals that repeated vaccines reduce a persons ability to fight Covid and other viral infections.

I having nothing but contempt for these Low quality group think politicians and their bureaucrats who dosed up millions of kiwis and their children with an experimental gene therapy that is today contributing to increased all cause mortality and declining birth rates in highly vaccinated countries. Eventually they will be held to account.

Hurried decisions are generally bad decisions. It looks as if the Labour Government was too quick to spend money. Maybe they took advice from too few people because experts in all field generally have a diversity of opinion. It's pretty clear now that al lot of the early mask-wearing was completely ineffectual. The worst thing the Labour Government did IMO was pass the responsibility for action (or NOT) to medical experts ..SOME medical experts. The decision the Labour Government had to make was NOT 'medical' - it was political - and that includes economic considerations. I think there's a worldwide consensus that the 'cure' (extreme lockdowns) was worse than the disease. The world is still in recovery from adverse economic cascade of lockdown and COVID is just as great a risk and threat as it ever was.
